The intent of the memorial is to ?honor those who contributed to the foundations of our school but who are not yet recognized.? Applications are being accepted for three artist-in-residence positions at The Newark Museum Arts Workshop for the month of January 2013. The residency offers three artists the opportunity to use the Museum?s professional facilities for creating new work.
A stipend will be paid to selected artists.

The residency is five weeks ? January 2 to February 1, 2013. The studios for the Residency are in the Museum.
The artists are considered staff and as such observe staff hours, that being 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
