CONTEST FOCUS
This is a Juried exhibition open to theme and focus partially funded by a grant through the Arts Council of Fayetteville/ Cumberland County.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA
All accepted work must be original.

Two-dimensional work may not exceed 50 lbs in weight, 64 cubic feet and must fit through a 32” x 80” doorway. A multi-part work to be displayed as a single unit and that does not exceed the size limitations will be considered a single entry.

First Place: $500.00
Second Place: $300.00
Third Place: $200.00

$20 for up to three entries (non-refundable)

INSURANCE
No Insurance, but very secure.

SALE OF WORK
Although no sales may be made during the exhibition, every effort to contact an artist with a potential buyer will be made.

 

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all media. No original works will be viewed during the jurying process.

JUROR: Robin Claudia Teas
An Art Instructor at Fayetteville Technical Community College Robin teaches Drawing, Sculpture, 3-D Design, Art History and, her first love, Ceramics. Teaching art for Robin deepens her understanding of her own work. Before joining the FTCC faculty Robin taught in Virginia at James Madison University and Lord Fairfax Community College.

An accomplished ceramic artist her work has won numerous awards and is included in national and international collections. She is published in the Lark 500 Book Series, “500 Bowls”. Robin has received several grants from private and state agencies on behalf of her work and is currently establishing a studio in Sanford NC.
