12 Inches of Sin features sophisticated, intelligent, witty and provocative artworks. The juried exhibition explores eroticism and sensuality through the lens of contemporary art, with one twist: every piece submitted for consideration must not be larger than one square foot. This constriction of the art’s physical space creates a tension within the art itself, expanding the challenge inherent in each piece’s creation. Invited group exhibition in Las Vegas and San Francisco. Best In Show receives six-week solo exhibition in Las Vegas.

This year's Lander Art Center juried show theme centers around the well-known 1916 poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. Poetry and the visual arts both have the ability to evoke thought, reflection and emotion. Life’s roads are not always clear and not always what we thought our path would be. What do we sacrifice for taking the road less traveled? This poem may be explored as a whole or a certain aspect highlighted. Interpretation is up to the artist. All mediums welcome — only original artworks accepted.
